Every night the doors to the maze lock up tight, and every morning they open again. Every day the maze if different. Every month a new boy is brought through the lift and into the Glade, so everyone was expecting Thomas. But no one was expecting the girl that came the next day.

The Maze Runner by James Dashner is a phenomenal book about courage and believing in yourself. The Maze Runner is a Science Fiction book about a boy named Thomas who gets dropped off in the Glade and finds himself in the middle of a huge puzzle. Surrounding the Glade, the place where everybody lives, is the Maze. A huge puzzle that nobody has been able to solve. Thomas also gets introduced to Chuck, a thirteen year old boy that has been in the glade for two years. Thomas is finally able to get some rest by the end of the day, anxious to see what tomorrow brings.
