Your mom hollers that you’re going to miss the bus. She can see it speeding down the street. You don’t stop and hug her and tell her you love her. You don’t thank her for being a good, kind, patient mother. Of course not—you launch yourself down the stairs and make a run for the corner. Only, what if it’s the last time you’ll ever see your mother? Wouldn't you sort of start to wish you’d stopped and did those things.
Fourteen kids. One superstore. A million things that go wrong.
This is an action-packed novel, six high school kids (some popular, some not), two eighth graders (one a technology genius), and six little kids trapped together in a chain superstore build a refuge for themselves inside. While outside, a series of escalating disasters, beginning with a monster hailstorm and ending with a chemical weapons spill, seems to be tearing the world—as they know it—apart. I'd definitely give it 5 stars and if you can rate it to 10, it would be 10 stars! It makes you wonder, what would you do if you were caught in a superstore?

A dangerous hailstorm will change their life's and fate forever. They face the furious storm on the way to school when the bus flips and kills most of the kids on board and severely injuring kids. Only six survive the accident. Now they have to stay in a store with younger kids until the bus driver gets some help. They have to learn how to handle the situation and how to work things around the store. When the world around them seems to collapse they need a leader who can help recover their confidence. Will they survive to tell what happened to them or will they stay there forever?
