Beastie or Clanker? Well, I guess I should explain. Alek is a prince on the run from his own people. He is the heir to the throne of Austria-Hungary, and uses war machines daily to protect his people. Deryn is a girl in disguise as a guy in the British Air Service. She must fight for her cause in a flying airship, called the Leviathan. They use animal mutants as weapons or tools. When both Alek and Deryn are thrown aboard the Leviathan, they fight side by side, but are worlds apart. They're enemies with everything to lose, yet somehow destined to be together.
