In the future after a war leaves the world in the hands of the nation, Panem, they organize a fight or game, known as the hunger games. It keeps the people of the districts hopeful that they won't have to fight for their lives, and show who's inferior, the Capitol. Each year they draw two names, one a girl and one a boy through the ages of 12 and 18, but in one of the outlying districts lives a girl named Katniss Everdeen. Will she be chosen to enter the games?
In the action packed thriller that has left a nation begging for more, makes teens everywhere rip through it faster than they are capable. An amazing book that will keep getting attacked from the shelves for years more.
